The Enlightened Landscape

As the global temperature rises, it is predicted that thunderstorms are likely to generate both stronger and more frequent lightning activity. This proposal explores the potential of lightning as a new source of renewable energy, it speculates a landscape of devices which capture lightning, in order to harness its immense output of electrical and heat energy.  This energy is then stored and distributed over time to the local areas.
